Cheeses without Names

The Occitanie is a beautiful, tranquil region of small farms, villages, and friendly, non-commercial producers’ markets. Farmers here live and eat from their own farms, selling what they are especially good at to neighbors at the village markets. 

Here you will find cheeses made by farmers, on farms. Each farmer has his or her own style. The cheeses do not have names. 

Join us for 4 days of exploration hosted by a local gourmand, with taste education by one of Europe’s leading affineurs. 

Friday: Arrive to Toulouse Blagnac airport. 

You may rent a car or request pickup.

Friday evening welcome with introduction to local foods. 

Saturday: Tour visiting markets and farmer’s cheese operations. Table d’hote with your hosts. 

Sunday: Another visit to markets followed by an expert taste education session with a leading European affineur. 

Monday: One more market on the way to the airport. 

Accommodation is available for 4 couples or pairs at our classic Charentaise. Each room has a queen bed and a single bed. 

In the case of a large group of friends to share rooms, we can accommodate 16 guests. 

Prices include 3 nights accommodation, education, tour transportation, breakfasts and dinners. 

Couple or pair of friends (double occupancy room): €700

Single occupancy €500

Three adults (triple occupancy): €900

One or two children:  €100/child.

Groups of up to 16 adults sharing the rooms: €2600

Additional nights of accommodation with breakfast may be booked at €90/night double occupancy. 

Guests are responsible for their own air or train transportation, transportation to/from airport, wine, and purchases. 

A wine pairing service may be offered. 

We will assist guests in organizing to share rental cars.
